The Johns Hopkins University Private Equity and Venture Capital club is among the most active of the School’s clubs. We provide a forum for students interested in all aspects and stages of Private Equity and Venture Capital, and help them develop the skills and knowledge necessary to build careers in these sectors.
Our Aim
- Build awareness of Private Equity and Venture Capital industry within Johns Hopkins
- Educate our members and provide them with the tools to enter the industry
- Increase recruitment opportunities by strengthening our alumni and practitioners network
Our activities
- Conference: This keystone event invites Private Equity and Venture Capital practitioners and investors to discuss current topics and to hear from Johns Hopkins’ world class faculty.
- Speaker Series: Throughout the year, the Club hosts a series of speaker events, inviting firms from Private Equity and Venture Capital to showcase their firm, activities, team and transactions.
- Educational Events: The Club organizes a range of events to educate students about Private Equity and Venture Capital. Events include Private Equity 101, Venture Capital 101, LBO Modelling I and II, Deal Structuring, Associate Panels and Recruitment Speaker Events
- Recruitment: We bring recruiters and students together through a variety of events including both Private Equity and Venture Capital firms and specialist recruiters.
